  • Experience our unique landscape on a network of over 500 km long hiking and cycling trails.
  • You can get to know our landscape from a completely different perspective on a whitewater trip on the Wiesent.
  • Or you can get an “overview” first - paragliding or skydiving on the Hohenmirsberger Platte.
  • You can also get an overview by climbing on one of our 5,000 climbing routes.
  • Guests can relax at the Obernsee thermal baths, 25 km away.

  • The game reserve in Hundshaupten offers a welcome change for our little guests.
  • Druid grove near Burggaillenreuth for little climbers. A little natural paradise.

  • Playmobilland Zirndorf (approx. 1 hour drive)

The poet Josef Heller called Franconian Switzerland a land of castles, caves and mills in 1830. But with that he has only described a small excerpt from the diverse offerings of this landscape.
